We represented a client who was sued in a claim for misrepresentation under the Illinois Residential Property Disclosure Act. During cross-examination of the plaintiff’s architect expert witness, Richard Katz was able to destroy the plaintiff’s theory of the case and the matter was then settled very favorably for our client.
We represented a commercial property owner who was fined by the City of Chicago for building code violations. We successfully settled the matter for a small fraction of the initial amount.
We represented a homeowner who sued a contractor in a Breach of Contract case where the contractor abandoned the project. We successfully obtained a judgment for our client.
We represented a client who was sued by the City of Chicago Water Dept. for a large sum of money. We were able to negotiate a settlement for a much lower amount for our client.
